A living space for art, books and culture
The association plans to open a cultural space of about 30 m² in La Tour-de-Peilz: accessible and welcoming, with a programme renewed every month.
The concept
Two artists, one dialogue
exhibition
Each exhibition will bring together a Swiss artist and a Chinese artist, shown side by side in the same space to encourage a direct dialogue between their practices, sensibilities and cultural contexts. The compact format allows the hang to change often and many artists to be shown over the year.
Art + book + encounter
An experience with several dimensions
Each exhibition will feature an art book devoted to one of the artists on show. Visitors can discover the original works while having access to a publication that extends their visit.
Visitors will also be welcomed with traditional Chinese tea. This gesture of hospitality makes the venue not only a place to look at art, but a place to take time to meet, talk and discover.
